Produced using 96 year old Grenache vines of low yield and grapes of great purity. The mid-palate is round with a creamy mouthfeel from ageing on the lees. The finish has length which is complex, crisp and balanced.
Intense deep garnet red. Spicy with plum and cherry notes also allowing hints of raspberry. Soft, velvety and full-bodied with a slight aromatic and lingering length.
Barrel aged for 3 years then a further 1 month in bottle. This Barolo is dry, stark and armonic, red garnet in colour with orange reflections.
match with roasted beef, game, poultry and aged cheeses.
Explosive red berry nose, backed up with chocolate and soft vanilla notes, fleshy fruit on the palate with ripe tannins, the finish is long, warm and beguiling.
Rich aromas of ripe fruit and spice as well as on the palate. Ideal with roasts, game, and aged cheeses but also sipped meditatively by itself as a vino da meditazione.
