Mr. Laslo Boni, the founder of DiBonis winery originates from the region of Baranya, which is now Croatia. He is a fourth generation of winemaker. The wine region of Subotica has a long recorded history of winemaking. Royals from Europe enjoyed this wine for more than five centuries. In the DiBonis Winery international grape varieties are dominating, such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Mucat Ottonel etc. DiBonis is famous in Serbia for being the first winery to plant Shiraz and to make a wine out of it. The DiBonis Dishiraz won many awards and recognitions, the latest was the commended title from the 2013 Decanter Awards in London.
