Wine production in the UK is on the rise with an estimated 10 million bottles expected by 2020.   The total hectarage planted by 2020 is expected to be in the region of 3000ha with the top 4 grape varieties planted in the UK are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Bacchus and Pinot Meunier.
