The Numbers Collection No. 81 By James Anderson Reserve Red

Tasting Note:
A red blend from the Languedoc which is light, fresh and fruitful with inviting red berry aromas.
Bottle Size:

England’s all time wicket taker James Anderson has embarked on a passion project - his own wine collection. Recollecting his family holidays to the South of France, James’ palate took him to the Languedoc region where he chose the wines in conjunction with the Robert Vic family vineyard in Beziers. The numbers relate to memorable moments from his cricket career to date, with the long term plan to add to these wines as his career progresses.

Why 81?

Jimmy scored 81 for England against India in 2014, his highest score in any form of cricket.  This innings was part of a world record 10th wicket stand of 198 with Joe Root at Trent Bridge. A hundred is surely just around the corner. We'll drink to that.

Food Match

Good with grilled meats, roast chicken, guinea fowl or pork chops. Also easy enough to drink without food.
