Cantina Sociale dei Colli Vicentini was founded in 1955 by 33 very keen vine-growers situated around the Montecchio Maggiore area. Since then, the cellar has made exceptional progress with it being constantly engaged in the desire to improve the quality of its products by adopting the most up-to -date technologies. Today, Colli Vincentini continues its commitment to producing quality wines by safe-guarding the characteristics of the vines and maintaining local traditions. The work of its oenologists and agronomists monitor closely the process from 'vineyard through to sale' to ensure superb quality wines.
The vineyards, which are located in Montecchio maggiore in the heart of the viticultural D.O.C. areas in the district of Vicenza between Colli Berici, Vicenza, lessini and Gambellara, covers an area of 35000 square meters. production is from 2000 hectares of vineyards, mainly located in hilly regions and cared for by around 1600 members.
