Baked Lemon and Garlic Halibut

Baked Lemon and Garlic Halibut with Vinessens Essens Chardonnay

Serves 4

A delicious dish made in under 25 minutes…absolute perfection with our Essens Chardonnay from Alicante.


1. In a medium sized casserole dish whisk together the first 8 ingredients.

2. Place the halibut fillet in the casserole dish, then turn it over to get some of the marinade on both sides. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for about 30 minutes to 2 hours in the fridge.

3. Preheat your oven to 175°C.

4. Remove the plastic wrap from the casserole dish and place the dish in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

5. Serve with some parsley and chopped tomatoes and Vinessens Essens Chardonnay.

• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 80ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• ½ tsp red pepper flakes
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ tsp ground black pepper
• 1 tsp sea salt
• 1 tsp dried dill
• 450 g halibut fillet
• Parsley and chopped tomatoes to serve
